Expanders, buildings and Beauville surfaces (Alina Vdovina, University of Newcastle)

We'll present buildings as universal covers of certain CAT(0) complexes.
Fundamental groups of these complexes will be used for expander constructions and for generating an infinite family of Beauville surfaces.
