Women's Role in the Labour Market

The symposium is organized by the Geneva School of Economics and Management (GSEM), the Geneva School of Social Sciences (G3S) and the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), in collaboration with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
The event will be opened by the Rector of the University of Geneva Yves Flückiger.
The theme of women’s role in the labour market will be discussed, as well as their inputs to our society as working women and the restrictions they have to face because of their gender.
The symposium will be in English in the morning session and in French in the afternoon session.
