Gravitational waves beyond GR

21.04.2017 11:30 – 12:30

I will review the physics of gravitational-wave emission in theories of gravity extending General Relativity. I will focus on the possibility of testing these theories with gravitational-wave observations of binary systems of compact objects, both indirect (timing of binary pulsars) and direct (ground and space based interferometers).
