Supergeometric formulation of T-duality geometry (Noriaki Ikeda, Ritsumeikan University)

24.10.2017 15:30

Supergeometry is a geometry with even and odd elements, which is inspired by supersymmetry and the BV formalism.
First, we prepare the mathematical notion of supergeometry, especially, a differential graded symplectic manifold, and the physical notion, so called fluxes and T-duality.
After that, we reformulate geometry of T-duality in terms of supergeometry. Moreover, I explain that extended T-duality and double field theory recently proposed in physics are formulated and unified by this formalism.
