Phase transitions in conformal field theories with large central charge

I will talk about phase transitions that appear in the large central
charge limit of two dimensional conformal field theories. This is of
particular interest for holographic theories: For instance, the
Hawking-Page transition in gravity on AdS3 should correspond to a
Hagedorn transition in its holographic dual. I will discuss such phase
transitions for various classes of CFTs. In some cases these are
universal and match the pure gravity case. In other cases adding
matter can lead to new phases.
