Asymptotic analysis of Maurer-Cartan equations and tropical geometry (Kwok Wai Chan, Chinese University of Hong Kong)

In this talk, I will explain how asymptotic analysis on Maurer-Cartan equations in various settings can give rise naturally to tropical objects such as scattering diagrams and tropical curves. In particular this leads to a proof of a modified version of a conjecture by Fukaya in SYZ mirror symmetry. This is based on recent joint works with Naichung Conan Leung and Ziming Nikolas Ma.
