Bose-Fermi Duality in 3 dimensions

02.04.2019 10:00 – 11:00

I describe a recently discovered strong weak coupling duality between a three dimensional theory of interacting bosons and another three dimensional theory of interacting fermions. This duality is possible because the distinction between fermions and bosons is not as sharp in 3 dimensions as it is in every higher dimension.
