Philanthropy meets neurosciences
15.10.2019 17:30 – 19:00
Philanthropy is characterized by a tension between moral values and material motivations. In this lecture Prof. Giuseppe Ugazio will discuss scientific evidence revealing where the brain represents moral values and how it integrates these with material motivations to drive choice. He will conclude illustrating how these findings can help us build a theoretical framework that allows characterizing different types of motivations for engaging in philanthropy.
