Non-reductive geometric invariant theory and hyperbolicity (Gergely Bérczi, University of Aahrus and QGM)

Using intersection theory for non-reductive geometric invariant theoretic quotients and work of Riedl and Yangwe recently completed a proof of the Green-Griffiths-Lang and Kobayaski hyperbolicityconjectures for generic hypersurfaces of polynomial degree. We explain elements of the proof.
