Matrix Tricks and Analysis (Renaud Rivier, University of Geneva)

18.10.2021 15:00

Linear algebra is a fundamental course in any math cursus. There are however many elegant and powerful tricks that are not covered in first year lectures.
In this talk I'll present some methods for studying matrices, computing eigenvalues and exploring spectral properties of Hermitian matrices.
Second year bachelor students should have the necessary background.
