Journey into the dynamical low-rank approximation

The journey will start with a historical and technical motivation of the dynamical low-rank approximation (DLRA). After a short description, we'll do hands-on computations to understand the tools in this domain. With the description of the challenges in hand, we'll jump into the future and describe several recent numerical algorithms. After that, we'll discuss open questions in this domain. Finally, we'll conclude with a brief introduction to my research.
