Multi-messenger cosmology

02.11.2018 12:00 – 13:00

In my talk I will show how we can combine data from gravitational wave interferometers with maps of the sky obtained by telescopes, working at different wavelengths, to perform innovative studies to understand the fundamental laws of the Universe.
In particular, I will focus on the cross-correlation of gravitational wave with 21cm IM maps and with galaxy catalogs obtained by e.g., Euclid.
This will allow us to probe otherwise inaccessible ranges in scale and redshift, providing insights on the physics acting in the early Universe and the nature of dark matter.
