Solving the double scaled SYK model

17.11.2022 14:00 – 15:00

The double scaled SYK model is an SYK model in which the length of the interaction scales like N^{1/2}. I will show how to solve this model, at all energy scales and not just the IR, using basic combinatorial tools. These automatically generate the Hilbert space of the bulk dual. I will highlight the relation to non-commutative geometry and to a q-deformed AdS_2 space.
