Going lower in dimension is a high price to pay when analysing a physical phenomenon. As such, we must assess what salient features our model retains. We discuss lower dimensional physics in a de Sitter spacetime for quantum field theories and gravitational theories in this light. Some papers of relevance are 2403.16166, 2406.15271
