Join us for Reproducibility Day – Talks, Lunch, & Hands-On Workshop

Hi everyone,
We’re thrilled to invite you to Reproducibility Day on November 14th at Uni Dufour (Room 408) – a full day dedicated to open science (OS) and reproducible research. 🎉

A glance into the day’s activities:
Morning Session 10:00 – 12:30 (Hybrid Session – Open to All):
Come join a series of talks on OS, transparency, and reproducibility. Hear from OS expert Prof. Dr. Malte Elson (University of Bern) who will give a talk titled “Preregistration in Psychological Science: Saviour, Vapourware, or Straightjacket?” and see what services and organizations exist at UNIGE to help incorporate reproducible practices within your own research. Lunch:
After our morning talks, we’ll provide a light lunch, because reproducibility is best discussed over good food.
Afternoon Session 13:45 – 17:00 (Hybrid, Limited In-Person Spots):
Want to go from ideas to practice? After lunch, you can join a hands-on workshop, “Reproducible Research Workflows with Quarto and R - Getting Started”, led by instructors from the Center for Reproducible Science and Research Synthesis of the University of Zurich. The entire event will be hybrid, so you can join in-person (spots limited) or online (keep in mind we can only offer limited support if online).

⚡ In-person spots for the workshop are first come, first serve—so sign up early for the afternoon workshop if you want in.
