NEURO-AI: When Brains meet Machines
20.01.2026 12:15 – 13:15
In this talk I will provide an overview of our research at the intersection between machine learning and neuroscience. I will first show how advanced machine learning techniques can offer exciting opportunities for understanding and intervening on brain function. Next I will dive into the topic of neuromorphic computing, where the aim is to develop brain-inspired intelligent machines. I will argue that such neuromorphic systems can provide an energy-efficient alternative to current AI systems. I will conclude with some thoughts on the future of neuroscience and computing.
