INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON HUMAN VOICE AND EARLY DEVELOPMENT

The main goal of this workshop is to enlighten knowledge gained in the last decades on the role of the human voice and other nonverbal behaviors in early development. It aims first to clarify the multiple biological processes underlying the vocal contact between human beings in the normal development of newborns and infants. Second, it addresses the question of the acoustical, statistical and behavioral methods through which early human interaction can be investigated, with particular attention to the voice.

The three conference days will run from
Wednesday December 5 at 2 pm to Friday December 7 at 6.30 pm.

All participants can submit abstracts (150 words) for poster sessions with the possibility to publish them in a dedicated special issue. Participation is free but registration is required (the first 50 registrations will be accepted).

The members of the Swiss Doctoral School in Affective Sciences will get credit for their attendance.

The deadline for submitting your abstract and registering is 2nd December 2018.
