Si Bondye vle, Yuli (Si Dieu le veut, Yuli)
27.02.2019 18:15 – 21:00
Yuli,a Haitian woman has lived in the Dominic-an Republic for more than 35 years. The child, who made Yuli cross the border in the beginning of the 80’s, is back and finds out that his mother after all this time is still trying to fix her situation because of the Regularization Plan the Dominican government has launched. Through this story the director reveals the daily struggles of many and asks questions including what really makes us belong to a place? How the links between the land and its people are made?
