Work on the topic of atmosphere revolves mainly around a theoretical discussion. We are practicing Landscape Architects and hence, in our work, constantly searching for tools to help us grasp atmospheres. We believe that open space has always served such intangible objectives as "joy", "leisure", or "a sense of drifting", whether through companionship, voyeurism, active movement or the elementary act of strolling. The rich and complex aspects of atmosphere, such as sense of space and sense of movememt, are essentail to our profession yet rarely discussed on hand from concrete projects. Under the following themes we show a series of projects and our attempt to grasp atmosphere in a deeper and more tangible way.
