Properties and examples of FC-central extensions (Tianyi Zheng, UCSD)

We will discuss a few permanence properties of FC-central extensions, such as sub-exponential volume growth. Taking diagonal products of finite groups converging in the Chabauty topology is a flexible way to produce FC-central extensions. Various examples will be explained.
