Thue-Morse substitution, intermediate growth and Schreier Dynamics (Rostislav Grigorchuk, Texas A&M)

In my talk I will explain how one can obtain a group of intermediate growth between polynomial and exponential from Thue-Morse substitution. For this purpose Schreier dynamical systems will be discussed, including Uniformly Recurrent Schreier graphs. The story will end with a Toeplitz system and Topological Full Groups.
