RESEARCH INSTITUTE FOR STATISTICS AND INFORMATION SCIENCE: STATISTICS SEMINAR

(jointly with Jeremy Näscher, Stefan Walterspacher, and many other collegues from applied sciences (pneumology, engineering, machine learning))

ABSTRACT

Motivated by questions in the context of mechanical ventilation, we consider dynamic state space models with quasi-periodic properties. Statistical inference requires new functional limit theorems. The methodology can be embedded in a general setting of spectral time series analysis for functional data.
