The weakly self avoiding walk.

14.11.2024 17:30 – 18:30

In this talk, I will introduce the weakly self-avoiding walk model, a model that is simple to define but remarkably challenging to analyze. I will explain why this model is interesting to study and I will present the various questions and conjectures people have about this model. If time permits, I will also present ongoing work with Hugo Duminil Copin and Romain Panis providing a new perspective on the model.
