The keynote lecture "Possibilities and Limits of Organ-on-Chip Technology" explores the potential of Organ-on-Chip technology (OOC) to replace animal experimentation.

OOCs can complement existing methods and reduce the reliance on animal models, supporting the 3R principles of replace, reduce, and refine.

The lecture will be complemented by two presentations on research projects at the University of Fribourg, some of which are supported by NRP79.
