Towards constructing single-valued elliptic polylogarithms (Johannes BROEDEL, ETH Zurich)
18.11.2025 15:00 – 17:00
Single-valued polylogarithms make an appearance in various calculations of observables in quantum field theory and string theory. While the construction of classical single-valued polylogarithms was established by Brown, I will report on recent progress in lifting the algorithm to the elliptic curve. Similar to the classical case, the precise combination of multi-valued elliptic polylogarithms yielding single-valued polylogarithms is determined by demanding triviality of monodromies for solutions to the Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov-Bernard equation, which can be expressed using Enriquez' A- and B-associators.
