Non left-orderability of irreducible lattices in semi-simple Lie groups of rank at least two (Bertrand DEROIN, CNRS, Cergy Paris Université)

I will report on the question of left-orderability of lattices in semi-simple Lie groups, and explain that when the rank is at least two, such lattices are not left-orderable, a result obtained in collaboration with Sebastian Hurtado.
