Cluster Structures on the Heisenberg Double

We show that a compatible cluster structure on the Heisenberg double of GL_n can be constructed, based on its symplectic groupoid geometry and the Berenstein-Fomin-Zelevinsky (BFZ) cluster structure on GL_n. We further conjecture that this result extends to semisimple groups of all types. This is based on an ongoing project with Yu Li and Dmytro Voloshyn.
