From Evidence to Practice: Innovative Public–Private Collaboration Models for School Connectivity

This research-based event, organized jointly by the Geneva Innovation Movement (GIM) and the Geneva Research Lab for Digital Impact (GRL), brings together practitioners and academia to examine public-private collaboration to connect schools in various national settings. Moving beyond high-level narratives, the discussion will focus on evidence, research insights, and country experiences.
Drawing on research from the Geneva Research Lab for Digital Impact and case studies, speakers will share best practices and innovative public–private collaboration models for establishing reliable and affordable school connectivity. The session will explore how these partnerships are designed in practice, including governance, procurement, and implementation lessons.
The event will offer practical insights for policymakers, international organizations, private-sector actors, academia, and innovators involved in designing, implementing, or supporting future digital development initiatives.
