On Geomorphisms (Jean-Claude Hausmann, UNIGE)
28.04.2026 10:30
A group homomorphism is called a geomorphism in dimension n if it is the homomorphism induced on fundamental groups by a map between closed orientable n-manifolds, this map being of nonzero degree. In this talk, we discuss necessary and/or sufficient conditions for a group homomorphism to be a geomorphism (n>= 4).
