The Inaugural Address 2026 will be delivered by Christopher Fabian, Co-Founder of Giga and Digital Inclusion Lead at UNICEF, who will share his insights on the following topic:

Where AI’s greatest promise lies, and what AI’s greatest lies promise: universal, safe, fair access to opportunity for all.

While technology companies talk about universal benefit and build systems and infrastructure that consolidate power, resources, and technology, there are still 2 billion people who aren’t connected to the internet. How do we create a world where technology is challenged by humanity to help serve the most vulnerable? How can technology and intelligence unite, rather than divide, humanity? What role will Geneva play in this complex, critical moment for the world?

This event is jointly organized by the Geneva Research Lab for Digital Lab et par UNICEF Digital Impact and the Geneva School of Economics and Management.
