The Geneva Health Forum's 2026 theme, Rethinking Cooperation in Global Health, is being developed through a deliberate sequence of events designed to build intellectual and political continuity across the year. In May 2026 during the 79th World Health Assembly, a roundtable session at Campus Biotech brought together over 80 practitioners, researchers, donors, and policymakers and produced three priority shifts on access to care in crisis settings:

· From implementation partnerships to local ownership and accountability

· From reactive workforce management to protection, preparedness and localization

· From facility-based waiting to community-cantered anticipatory care
AidEx is the next step in that sequence, moving from "what needs to change" to "who is already doing it, and how." On 𝟐𝟐 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐭 𝐀𝐢𝐝𝐄𝐱 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, the Geneva Health Forum will bring together actors around two complementary seminars focusing on concrete experiences from humanitarian and crisis settings:
