Contraction family for a doubly nonlinear parabolic equation (Mustapha Jazar, Lebanese University, Beirut)

We present a new method to design families of contractions for solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations. This method can be applied for general PDEs of evolution type or of stationary type and it opens new directions to explore. We will focus on a particular example: the doubly nonlinear equation, for which we get new contractions.
