PyTRERIE on Normandie’s cliff (Antoine Tonnoir, INSA Rouen Normandie, France)
22.02.2022 14:00 – 15:00
In this presention, we will show some results of the Regional - European project TELEDETAC. The global purpose of this project was to study at a local scale the evolution of the coastline. To do so, a methodology based on drone survey of the site of interest coupled with Electrical Resistivity Imaging techniques was proposed. In particular, we develop a software called PyTRERIE (for Python Tomographie de Resistivité ElectRIque) which aims at solving the inverse problem of ground resistivity reconstruction using point surface measurements. In addition to classical difficulties raised by this (very ill-posed) inverse problem, we need to take into account the complex topography of the cliff. In particular, this leads us to propose new absorbing boundary conditions derived from infinite elements methods. In the talk, I will present the methodology implemented as well as some numerical results obtained with PyTRERIE.
