Topology optimization: concepts, application to a heated channel and parallelization (Alexandre Vieira, Université de Pau)

The goal of this presentation is to give an overview over some problems linked with topology optimization applied to fluid dynamics. After a broad presentation of the most common techniques, I will focus on a problem of topology optimization of a heated channel where we would like to control the distribution of the thermal diffusivity in the solid parts. The presentation will conclude on some perspectives concerning the accelerations of the calculations appearing when solving these problems.
