Infinite dimensional invariant tori for nonlinear Schrödinger equations (Joackim Bernier, Nantes Université)

Almost periodic solutions are expected to be typical for nearly integrable Hamiltonian PDEs but as yet very little is known about their existence. In this talk, I will present a recent result about the existence of some almost periodic solutions for nonlinear Schrödinger equations on the circle. Our proof relies on KAM theory and on some dispersive smoothing effects that I will describe.
