11:00 🧩 Moral illusions and the psychology of eating meat

Psychologists have studied our complex relationships with non-human animals. These relationships are troubled by moral illusions: persistent intuitive moral judgments that violate our strongest moral values. This talk presents several moral illusions associated with meat consumption and animal welfare concerns.

Topics include :
- the meat paradox
- the interspecies model of prejudice
