SDG Summer School: Scientific Diplomacy, Multilateralism and Global Challenges

This course is designed for Bachelor’s and Master’s students from UNIGE, UdeM, and universities worldwide interested in multilateralism, scientific diplomacy, and global challenges such as planetary health and AI governance within the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). All academic backgrounds are welcome; no technical skills are required. The program is part of the SDG Olympiad.
Course Description:
The 2026 SDG Summer School, Scientific Diplomacy, Multilateralism and Global Challenges, is a two-week, hands-on program in Geneva (22 June–3 July 2026; second week optional for UdeM students). Students work in interdisciplinary teams on real-world challenges defined by international organizations and NGOs, supported by experts, doctoral coaches, and iterative pitching sessions, while collaborating with teams worldwide.
Course Credits
Participants receive a Certificate of Completion (6 ECTS) from Geneva Summer Schools at UNIGE. UdeM students completing one week receive 3 credits.
