Sustainability Practices & Indigenous Knowledge

This one-week course explores the links between Indigenous Peoples’ rights, sustainability, and leadership, grounded in international human rights frameworks and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. It highlights the role of Indigenous rights, knowledge, and leadership in environmental stewardship, biodiversity protection, and inclusive sustainability.
Participants engage with Indigenous perspectives, experts, and Geneva-based international organizations through lectures, workshops, case studies, field visits, and group work.
Key themes: Indigenous rights, sustainability and the SDGs, Indigenous knowledge, and leadership in practice.
