What happens after negotiations, when the spotlight dims?
Since the Anti-Personnel Mine Ban Convention entered into force in 1999, there has been a vigorous, Geneva-led process to ensure that the Convention actually gets implemented.
What challenges have been encountered and how are these overcome, in Geneva and at the national level? Is all this diplomacy worth it? Has progress been made thanks to implementation support?
